Lizard pose (Utthan Pristhasana) is one of my favorite and safest ways to open your hips, and breathe into your hamstrings! It one of the best hip openers, and stretches for your hamstrings and thighs. Tell me if you like it! :DIf you suffer from tight hips and hip flexors, give this relaxing pose a try. Like the Pigeon pose, it's a pose you can spend minutes in and allow gravity to further increase your flexibility. Lizard works your inner thigh and quadriceps of your front leg while opening the back of the hip and groin. In your back leg, your hip flexor receives a nice stretch while your whole thigh is engaged. Your spine is lengthened as your sternum reaches forward to bring your shoulders directly over your elbows. If your hips are tight, it may be uncomfortable to come down to rest on your forearms. If your forearms don’t come easily to the ground, its fine to keep your arms straight or slightly bent, and just sink your hips toward the ground. Enjoy this chaMELeonn pose (;
